Monk Class Power Leveling Tips

As you all know, the Monk Class uses Dexterity as their main stat which improves their dodge chance and damage points. So capitalizing on the high damage output of Monks can help you power level up in Diablo 3. But in order for you to speed level, you must be able to create a powerful build and match your play style with the natural abilities of the Monk Class. The Monk is a character that can be able to face powerful enemies. The Monk can heal, dodge and deal damage making them ideal for group or solo play. So here is a suggested level by level build for the Monk. Just be sure that you have set an Elective Mode in the gameplay menu.

Level 1: You will have the Fists of Thunder in the beginning of the game. This is the skill that can help you build your Spirit which will be needed in most of your powerful skills.

Level 2: This is when you equip yourself with your first attack skill which is the Lashing Tail Kick in the 2nd slot of your Active Skill. This skill uses Spirit but can deal a good amount of damage on your enemy.

Level 3: You can now replace your Fists of Thunder with the Deadly Reach to build your Spirit. This skill will also give you a nice AoE damage. When using this skill, it will give you 2 short ranged attacks, but the third one will be able to reach up to 25 yards damaging enemies within that area. This skill uses little Spirit and can be spammed.

There will be no change in your build and skills during levels 4 and 5. Just continue with your quests and make some gold. You can practice your skills against weak enemies.

Level 6: You can now fill the 3rd slot in your Active Skill with the Tempest Rush.

Level 7: Replace your Lashing Tail Kick skill with the Vulture Claw Kick Rune

Level 8: This time you will now have your first skill that can enable you to group heal which is makes Monk survive battles for a very long time. Have the Breath of Heaven replace your Tempest Rush skill in the 3rd slot of your Active Skill.

Level 9: The mobs in Normal mode doesn’t really cause severe damage, so you can just drop Breath of Heaven and replace it with the Dashing Strike which will give you with more attack speed and mobility. You will also replace the Deadly Reach with the Piercing Trident Rune.

Level 10: The Dashing Strike will have already gave you a lot of speed and you can further increase your mobility by equipping the Fleet Footed in the first slot of your Passive Skill. At this point the Monk is the most mobile character and you have the ability to cause powerful AoE damage thanks to the Piercing Trident Rune. With this starting build you can whack enemies in seconds and speed level very effectively.
